Its a fast, low cost, visual comparision method for paint and powder coating up to a thickness of 250 microns. The coating is cut into small squares, thereby redusing lateral bonding, and the adhesion assessed against ISO, ASTM-D or other standard.

Indian make manufactured as per International standard suitable for checking adhesion of coating by cross cut method. Complete kit includes metallic handle for cutter, Cross hatch cutter having four cutting edges, Magnifying Glass, Soft brush, ASTM imported adhesive tape(optional accessories), wooden carrying case. The tester can be used in accordance with standards BS: 3900, E – 6, ASTMD 3359, DIN 53151 & ISO 2409. (SHEEN Type)

1 mm space 11 blades. Suitable for coating up to 60 um
2 mm space 6 blades. Suitable for coating 61 um to 120 um
